And Northern British Columbia Power Company Limited wants to meet their requirements in all these respects, improving upon them wherever possible. But, just as our cartoon horses were for a time, we are presently lacking in teamwork. We are lacking in teamvork to such an extent, that there appears to be a real danger of us breaking out of our "harness" and both coming out on the short end as the result. We want to make it quite clear that we don't think for a moment that this "harness-breaking" is inevitable. At the same time, we want to stress that we fuliy tealize that this situation, characterized by the power referendum to be held on December 13th, is not the will of a majority of Prince Rupert's citizens. Nor do we believe that it sews frcri any neglect of duty on the company's part. On the contrary, we realize that it has developed from the misunderstandings of the power situation as s result of the power situation being made a public issue by certain sponsors of the referendum. But be that as it may, we can get back to vitally needed teamwork, by sweeping away these misunderstandings. Let's get about it quickly by examining the referendum situation. Ask yourself if it's really fair to pose such a question before the Public Utilities Commission discloses its findings on our operations, and we think you'll have to honestly answer, "NO". Ask yourself if the referendum passes, are you guaranteed adequate future power at a lower and controlled price, and you get the answer "no". - Ask yourself if, in view of these conclusions, and others you most certainly will arrive at, you can honestly support the referendum, and you'll answer "NO". Then add up all these negative answers to one big "NO"' to mark on your referendum ballot on " December 13th. t rayon fabrics. Can be worn either as a sport shirt or dress shirt.
