people of this town said by their
votes that they wanted a school

built on the hill near the football
field, and yet | do not any
move to start work on the build-

ing. Is someone trying to thwart
the will of the people? It looks
like it.

I see, sir, that you have been

urging the school trustees to push
the work forward as fast as pos-
sible. Those of who have
hildren here will back you up in
that. We want the best there is
for our children in Prince Rupert.
here are some things we cannot
gel, but schools we can bave and
good ones too, if we wish, and we
do wish, voted for the by-
law when it up. Nearly
three quarters of those who voted
were in favor of the new school.
If there is a nigger in the city
woodpile, Mr. Editor, let us shoot
Lynch law is the thing for

ing built when we want it so bad-
ly. Let us clear the way at once
and get that big building up s
that we shall not have to apolo-
gise for our children being re-
