Mr. Michie was in the district last year and staked on Lookout mountain, and was back there for a time this season. He also staked this fall on Keno Hill, not far from the claims which are under option to the Gugenheims. He says: The outlook for the Mayo dis- trict certainly is promising. Men are getting out material for cabins whieh they will build this winter in the vicinity, and there is going to be some development work done this winter. By next summer every staker possibly will be trying to find out if there is anything in his ground, and there should be considerable ac tivity in the camp. “However, the Mayo district will not be a dead one this winter. There will be work under way on| several of the older silver prop erties as well as on the new Keno Hill group and adjoining claims. Mrs. D. B.
