Government Is Asked to Approve of Northern Alberta Extension VICTORIA, Aug. 24: Approval by life British Columbia government is sought of plans for the Hythe extension of the Northern A'berta Railway designed to give part of the Peace River area its first railway communication with the outside world. The province Is asked to approve the plans so far as its lands are concerned. About 36 miles of line would be laid. Detailed drawings of the proposed line received at the Legislative Buildings show that the line would cross into British Columbia from Alberta at the southeastern area of ' the Peace River block south of Swan Lake. The line would follow the lake shore for a short distance and continue northwest to Pouce Coupe, passing near Tupper Creek.
