IMMIGRATION IS DISCUSSED Several Interesting Matters Trades Ac Labor Meeting; Labor Party Mooted A resolution from the Winnipeg Trades & Labor Council in the matter of immigration, and unemployment formed one of the principal items of buiiness at the monthly meeting of t:ie Prince Rupert Trades & Labor Council last night with Aid. S. D. Macdonald, president, in the chair. The matter was referred to the legislative committee with the request that a rcom-mendatlon be made for the council to act upon. A number of delegates expressed their views on the matter and criticized the present policy ot the government in regard to unemployment.
