Burton at Summerland Recently The following from the Vancou ver Province describes the recent wedding of Miss Alva Garnett until recently a member of the teaching staff of Booth Memorial School here: St. Andrew's United Church, Summerland, was the scene of a charming morning wedding when Alva Aileen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Garnett, became tne bride of J. Stuart Burton, son of Rev. and Mrs. William M. Burton of Vancouver. The father of the groom officiated. The bride, given in marriage by her father, entered the church to the strains of Men delssohn's wedding march, played by Mrs. D. L. Sutherland. She was attired in a white georgette gown. fashioned on long simple lines. Her veil of white silk net was held In place by a wreath of orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and Illy of "the valley.
