"Disgusted Radio Owners," and would hasten, to assure them that while the trouble causing radio annoyance has not been eliminated, they are very much in error when they state, "nothing has been done." A great deal of time, effort and Its concomitant money has been "xpended In attempting to locate . the annoyance and every effort . will still continue to be made until the Interference Is run down. The writer personally dees hot understand it is necessary for the gentlemen whose signatusts are rhown on the above mention rd letters, to break into print, as this Company Is at all times anxious to receive complaints, as the notification of complaints will, even tually, improve the service by their correction. By this much abused word "service," we interpret this to mean "unqualified sat isfaction to our customers and the community." It would take too much space to go Into the subject of radio interference here, other than to say. the cause of radio Interference in general is fairly wen known; its location is sometimes mere difficult; its eltmnattort a matter of time and experience The history of radio lnterefer-ence in the city proves the major ity of the annqyane dkl rot orgi- fnate from power circuits direct. but was traceable to coramunlca-tlon systems, appliances, etc.. and apparatus on customers' premises. The writer has recently recelv-ved complaints, personally, the j new high tension line receiving th blame, this having occurred during the period when the Falls River plant was shut down and the transmission line disconnected. While we recognise the possibility of radio interference from our j transmission and distribution system, nothing can be gained by complaints made by news letters. Invaluable assistance would be given if a short report was given , either verbally or in writing to our office, when Inspection and test can be instituted, the disturbance found and corrected. Thanking you Mr. Editor, in anticipation of tne publication of this letter and apologising for cncroachlnf on your valued space. NORTHERN B. C. POWER CO. LIMITED per J. J.
