BRADY TALKS PEACE RIVER Peace River country. J. C. Brady, M.P. for Skeena, said in the House of Commons at Ottawa last week, needed an outlet to the Pacific and Prince Rupert was its logical port. He regretted the fact that the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Railways" had" taken 'over the Northern Alberta line. By launching on this project Instead of opening a road to the Pacific the government was allowing the future of the greatest part of Canada to be Jeopardized. Sir Wilfred Laurier, he said, had visualized Prince Rupert as a world port. Now, the present government iwas stifling It by denying to the people of the Peace River an out- I let to their legitimate port.
