The Political Come Thursday, June 19 No. 8 Liberal and Conservative Candidates Olof Hanson, the Liberal candidate has a business record of which he may well be proud. He has been a resident and engaged In business in the Skeena Electoral District for 23 years and In all that time he has yet to have his first lawsuit. Though employing many; men during this whole period of time, running variously from 100 to 1100. he has never been sued; he has never had a lien filed against him nor has he ever beep complained of by labor Interests. If there Is another such record in the whl )f the Province of British Columbia, we have yet to hear of it It is phenomenal and proves conclusively not only that the Liberal Candidate is a first class business man,but also that, he is eminently fair with all classes dealing with him. We believe also that Mr. Brady, the.QDnscrvatVA,Crandld, aalr and equitable in his dealings 'with men. The Liberal crltlcisnhim Is that 'he lacks business training; that he Is opposed to the Liberal Government which will be In power and therefore cannot be as useful at Ottawa as Mr. Hanson. Would It not be a splendid thing for this riding If the Conservative Candidate were appointed a school Inspector by the Tolmlo Government, a position he Is eminently qualified to fill, while Olof Hanson were sent to Ottawa to support the Mackenzie King administration. As, no one wishes to have a member opposed to the government in power this should prove the desired solution. We commend this suggestion to our Conservative friends.
