FAREWELL FISHERMEN George Bushby Urges More Gen- eral Tribute to Them at Moose Letrion Gathering At a social and musical evening held last night by the Moose Le gion as a farewell to fishermen members and friends on the eve of their departure for the season's' operations on the halibut banks, George G. Bushby, one on the principal speakers, made the suggestion that Prince Rupert should each year give a community farewell to the fishermen. The speaker mentioned the important part the fishermen played In connection with the welfare and prosperity of this town and suggested that to annually honor them as they left for the banks was only too little for the city to do. He pointed out that it was done in other places which depended 'upon the fisheries for their trade and well being. There were 150 persons at the affair which was a great success. W. B.
