It , 1 alleged that Wesley and Morrison j entered Oavin's room and forcibly relieved him of a watch as well as j cash. ' I Andy Oavln. the man who was) alleged to have been robbed, was the chief witne against Wesley and Morrison. He declared that Wesley had entered his room by way of the transom and opened the door from the inside for Morrison. The pair then relieved him forcibly. Oavln declared, of a watch and two dollars or so which they took from his pockets. Oavln testified that It had been necessary to call a doctor to examine him for a ttp.-i.ufpd arm and a throat which was still sore as a result ,of Morrison having "loved him." Witness stated that he was lying on top of his bed when Wesley made entrance by way of the transom. He had not had time to interfere before Wesley unlocked the door. A. Burke, missing Atlin commercial flyer, reached his destination safely and left Liard Post on the return flight to Atlin on October 11, was learned by Frank Dorbrandt who left here on Monday last to search for Burke. Dorbrandt, on his return from Liard, was forced to land on Paddy's Lake, 50 miles south of here, because of shortage of gasoline. Burke was last seen 50 miles from Liard making good progress toward Atlin. The visibility was poor here on October 11. Gasoline is being rushed to Dorbrandt so that he may return here.
