TO START ONWALKS Asphaltlc Construction In Down-Town Section to Be Proceeded With At Once Work of constructing the new style of asphaltlc sidewalks In the downtown sections will be commenced as soon as the material arrives, Mayor C. H. Orme announced this morning. The new form of construction is one that has been recommended by City Engineer F. N. Good and it is the first time that it' has been tried here. 'Its economy is one of its principal advantages. At the same time it will be lasting, the engineer is confident. The first sidewalks to be con structed work probably starting next Monday, will be those on the south side of Third Avenue from the Smith Block to Brooksbank Block and on the north side of Second Avenue between the Prince Rupert Hotel and Post Office.
