In speaking to the recommendation. Aid. S. D. Macdonald, who presented the report of the house committee In the absence of Aid. W. M. Brown, the chairman, stated that the fracture table was a long outstanding necessity in the equipment of, the hospital. Miss Jean Harrison, lady superintendent, described some of the many uses which could be lade of thia item of equipment. It vas valuable in treating all forms of fractures and made it easier both far patient and doctor. A patient had had to leave the hospital here recently and go to Vancouver for further, treatment because there was no fracture table here. J. H. Thompson chairman of the board, stated that it had been de cided ttiat a fracture table Mwocld be of more value in the hospital 'han a quarts, lamp which had been aHwd about. After G. P.
