CAME OUT OF ARCTIC i Interesting Travellers Here Aboard j Princess Alice Yesterday Afternoon Travellers of more than usual interest were Karl Peterson and Fred J&cobsen, veteran trappers and traders for many years on the Arctic Coast, who were passengers on board the Princess Alice yesterday afternoon bound for Vancouver where they will receive dental treatment and attend to a number of other matters. It is the first time in many years that either Mr. Peterson of Mr. Jacobean has been outside. These two men flew all the way out from Aklavlk, near the mouth of the Mackenzie River, to Car-cross in the Wernicke plane. From Aklavlk to Mayo via Wind River, a distance of some 300 or more miles, It took them but three and a halt hours to make the trip while another two and a half hours brought them from Mayo to Carcroas. Dy the old means of transportation it would have taken them weeks to make the trip from Aklavlk to Carcross. Former Matron Anyox Hospital Goes to Vernon Mlscs Edna E.
