The Municipal Chapter of the Daughters of the Erepire are do- ing excellent werk in fittme up a nursery at the General Hospital Since the maternity ward has been established at the hospital there has been need of a nursery in connection therewith. A bright room been secured for this purpose and the ladies are spar- ing no expense in making it suit- able for the purpose. She was her way to take a position in the Anyox hospital, where Miss Me. Knigut, the matron, has resigned. Miss Mckihoes spent three years on in Franee with the Ganadian ferces and has just recently re turned to Canada. It is fou years since she has been in Prince Rupert and it was an agreeable surprise to her many friends in this city to see her back once more if it was only for tae after- noon. Miss McElhoes will spend the winter in Anyox at least. Lieut. and Mrs. Collison ar- rived from Kineolith on the Chelohsin Tuesday night. Lieut Collison is the son of the Vener able Archdeacon Collison, of Kin colith, and the brother of W. & Collison of this city. He recently returned from overseas.
