GREAT ACTIVITY AT WEALTHY GOLD CANP Visitors to Princess Royal isiand Mines are Impressed With Progress. Recent visitors to Surf Inlet re- port great activity at the gold camp. Quite a little town is build- ing up there and the houses and public buildings are all equipped with all modern conveniences such as electric light, steam heat- ing and water system. There is a fine modern club hotel there as well as churches, post oflice and schoo]. All the ore is shipped from Surf Inlet direct to Tacoma so the big consignments are not brought to the same attention locally as if they were passing through here. Surf Iniet is one of the most prosperous and wealthy mining camps in the north, A PRETTY WEDDING AT PRINCE GEORGE A wedding of general interest took plaee at Prince George on Monday morning when Miss Bertha Block*became the bride of Robert Garvey.
