Peck felt that all men who had served with the expeditionary forces in France, England or Canada should be entitled to vote and that their discharge certificates should be sufficient to get them on the lists. The mayor said that this was a matter that was regulated by the legislature and the proper way to have it adjusted would be to tak: it up with the Union of B. ¢ Municipalities who could recom nend amendment to the Provin cial Government. The Hibernian members of the Suicide Club had another session in one of the local hotels yester- day evening. They took Frencl eave of one of the tables in the house and produced a large size: bottle of lemon extract. When their imbibings had made them vather hilarious the manager of the hotel investigated the caus of such undue merriment and on seeing the /bottle called up the police station.| Constables Adams and Duff answered the call and escorted the merry quartette to the station where Lhey spent the night. This morning they came up be- fore Magistrate MeMordie to settle up. Besides the extract the even- ing’s entertainment cost Mike Donohue, Wm. Watson and Geo, Richardson $10 each or 20 days labor to work off the debt. Pat Casey, being an old offender, was required to pay $15 or serve lay None of the club members bore very cheerful countenances this morning. One of the accused said that he could not walk down the street without help and the magistrate lamented that he was such a confirmed drinker.
