Copy is appreciated After hearing adelegatl6runj sisting of William Millar and FretV RIffou, members of the Parks Board, who had certain suggestions to make as to development of Mc-Clymont Park, the city council last night engaged in a discussion of some length on the subject. It being finally agreed that the board of works and parks should have a conference tonight to settle definitely upon the course that is to be followed. William Millar, the first speaker, suggested that it might be more advantageous if further improvements in the park be made on the dry hillside towards Eleventh Avenue rather than further down the creek as is at present being done. City Engineer F. N. Good, pointing out that work was Deing carried -ut as relief, explained that it was being done at a level point at a nlnimum of coat. Extension of playground facilities wag considered of more Importance than the scsnic effect at this time. ' , Fred RIffou supported Un sug-cstion of Mr. Millar that imorove-tents should be made instead on he hillside toward Eleventh Ave nue. There was about three-quar-ers of an acre here which vas al-eady stumped and which he hought could be made into a play-round at a cost of no more than ;200. After Aid. Macdonald had been issured that there would be no In-.erruptlon of the relief work that vas being carried on. It was agreed .hat the board of works and parks board should confer to determine vhere the work could be most ad vantageously carried out.
