The city council last night ad opted a recommendation from the city engineer that buildings on' lot 9. block 31. section 5. and on lot 25. block 7. section 5. are in a dan gerous condition' structurally and should be either repaired or pulled down. One of the buildings on a tax sale lot owned by the city will be taken down and notice will be given to the owner in the other case. Miss Jean Harrison R. N lady superintendent of the Prince Ru pert General Hospital, reported at last night's board meeting that the Institution was comfortably filled at the present time and everything was going along In a routine way. Miss Harrison reported the dona tion of $15 for the nurses' Christ mas tree from a person who desired that his name be not published. The Prince Rupert Medical Asso ciation had a request beore the hospital board at It meeting last night asking for the installation of regulation chart cabinets on each floor of the Institution. The pr sent chart filing system was declared to be very public and altogether unsuitable for history sheets. Miss Jean Harrison R. N., lady superintendent, agreed with the proposed change.
