Tooth, members of last year's board, were re-elected to he board of village commlssloenrs for this town at the annual civic election yesterday. Sam Desehamps betng the third and new member of the commission. W. L. Newell, councillor last year, and H. C. Bennett were defeated. Messrs. Gibson. Tooth and Desehamps were elected for a period of two years. Mr. Gibson, heading the poll yesterday, remains as chairman of the board. There were 115 ballots cast yesterday, none being spoiled. ORANGELODGE CARDS-DANCE Large Crowd in Attendance Last Night at Delightful Party in Metropole Hall A delightful bridge and whist party and da nee was put on by the Loyal Orange Lodge in the Metro-pole Hall last night, a crowd of orer two hundred persons being in attendance at the affair. A great deal of time and effort had been spent in the arrangement of decorations which proved one of the pretty features of the party. There were 20 tables of whist and 10 tables of bridge. Mrs. J. Ratch-ford and Miss L. Jones, playing as a gentleman, were prise winners in whist, while Mrs. O. Ilanley and W. D. Vance took the first prizes in bridge. After cards, delicious refreshments were served to two sittings. Dancing followed until 3 a.m. with muck by the Rsemier Orchestra and Mrs. J. S. Blsfck.
