The price of California dried fruits 'had jumped with the result that there has been a large demand for the Australian product. The price of eggs is very firm and advances on the retail market may be expected shortly. With Thanksgiving approaching, turkeys will be in demand. Owing to Thanksgiving coming earlier, the prairie turkeys are not yet in shape. There may be some interior birds to meet the demand. Price, it is expected, will be around 50c or 55c per pound.
