Hugh Miller and His Men Sawing Wood When Blaze and Explosion Occurred Was 33 ft., Built in Seattle The well known Pripce Rupert halibut boat Cape Swain was totally destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon in Tucks Inlet at the head of Prince Rupert harbor. Captain Hugh Miller, the skipper and owner, and two men who were accompanying him had gone ashore to cut wood and it was during their absence that the vessel caught fire and burned to the water's edge.
