KEEP IN mm "-n BAZAAR IS SUCCESSFUL Daughters of Norway Hold After- noon and Evening Affair in Metropole Hall 1 The annual bazaar of the Daughters 6f Vlnland Lodge, Sons of Norway, was held Friday afternoon and evening In the Metropole Hall and proved to be a very successful af- l lair. The hall was attractively decorated for the occasion. In the afternoon there was a sale of home cooking and sewing and raffle tickets. Tea was also served. In the evening there was a dance I J and play. There were 240 persons ! present. The official opening was performed by O. B. Sather, president of the Sons of Norway. The-play consisted of three acts I with four persons taking part Mrs. ; Chris Jensen, Mrs. S. Anderson, Mrs. I A. Dybhavn and Mrs. J. Storseth. Vessels Will Soon be on Winter Runs VANCOUVER. Nov. 9 The win ter schedule of the Canadian National Steamships on the Pacific Coast will go into effect from Vancouver on Monday, November 16. The new schedule calls for one round trip sailing a week and for the-time being ss. Prince Rupert will operate on this service. The ship will leave Vancouver northbound every Monday night at 8 o'clock with calls at Powell River ! and Ocean Falls, arriving at Prince Rupert on Wednesday morning at 11:30. The ship sails from Prince Rypert on Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock arriving at Anyox on Wednesday night. The ship leaven Anyox early Thursday morning, arriving at Stewart at 7:00 o'clock the same morning. Southbound from Stewart the departure time is 11:00 o'clock on Thursday morning, sailing direct for Prince Rupert, arriving Thursday evening. At 10 o'clock Thursday night the ship departs from m L.
