It was decided to enter a candidate In the international Beautefest at Los Angeles and the chairman appointed a committee consisting of Alderman H. F. Pul-len, Alderman Llnzey W. H. Sher man, jr.. and the president and secretary to handle the choosing In connection with the fair. Ths opinion was expressed that probably local organizations would enter candidates for the event Erch local girl was to be required to sell 50 tickets to the coronation ball and girls from outside the cltv would have to sell 25 tickets as th? price of entry. Fifty dollars was voted for the candidate selling the most tickets. It was considered that the program for the visitor to Los Angeles would be a wonderful attraction and that there was always a possibility that Prince Rupert might provide the reigning queen.
