RADIO INTERFERENCE f Editor, Daily News: The president and officers of the Prince Rupert Radio Association have been inundated with complaints regarding local Interference and poor reception during the past weeks. A certain amount of this is undoubtedly due to atmospheric conditions, but a great deal s absolutely local. Our radio Inspector has been working steadily and has found several causes for the local, the other Interference being out of his Jurisdiction. Some of the most consistent Interferences; are from the power line and the C. N. Telegraphs. This latter Interference has been tested a number of times and it has been proved that a great deal of trouble comes from the generator operated there. The powers that be in the east have been ; notified and have been very polite about the condition, saying that1 the trouble would be taken care of, : but to date no Improvement has taken place. The greater the success that is achieved in the flotation the more will it illustrate self confidence and the security of Canadians' belief in their own resources and destiny. At the time of its issuance the government will be prepared to show the people for what it is wanted, under the terms of the blank cheque policy secured by R. B. Bennett from Parliament last session. It is an emergency loan for emergent purposes, and because of that the people will be asked to do their own financing and show their ability to hieet and conquer the problems that confront them. management changed their ways.
