Good British Market For Canadian Cattle Experimental Shipment Was Satis, factory to Many CALGARY, March 24: There la a future for western cattlemen on the British market, according to a concensus of opinion among the ranchers and cattlemen who contributed to the test shipment of cattle to the British Isles last fall. The shipment was made under the auspices of the federal department of agriculture. Some of the ranchers feel that the cattle did not bring the returns expected but the majority express satisfaction with the financial, returns. Rod McLeay of High River, Alta.. a heavy contributor stated that a good deal have been learned from the test shipment. "We should be able, with the cooperation of the railways, to effect economies that will ensure a reasonable profit and the establishment of a regular traffic," he said.
