OPENING UP COAL AND OIL The Tolmie Government has announced through the lieutenant-governor at the opening of the house that it will introduce a new policy for encouraging prospecting in coal and oil in the province. This is welcome news. If the policy is one that has any likelihood of proving effective it will be generally welcomed We need to encourage those any reasonable policy for doing this. We shall look forward with interest to the new policy.
