Since the induction of Mr. Hollmgworth ten months ago. the Cession was pleased to report that there bad been a true revival of vital religion in the winjjfrgatinn The serriees at the 8onday morning and eve ning serriees had steadily and consistently mcreased. New organisations for young people and for men and warns bad been started and were fulfilling a work which the congTegaOon bad for a long time needed. Mew life and vigor bad been instilled into the older organi zations and there was progress all along the line. These achievements were significant and augured weU for the future. The Session acknowledged Its in debtedness to all who bad contributed to the effectiveness of the church services during the year. To the pastor for his inspiring messages and faithful devotion to his congregation, to J. E. Darey and members of the senior and junior choirs who had given so much of their time and talent to the musical part of worship, to Mrs. J. W. McKinley for faithfulness to decorating the church with such good taste each weak, to the Women's Auxiliary for their faithful services and for the generous gift of a beau tiful Communion Table. K. 3. Smith presented the report of the Board of Managers. The board had held ten regular and one special meeting with an average at tendance of ten members. This re port also showed that there had I been a renewed spirit of optimism and enthusiasm In the congrega tion which spoke well for the future. The treasurer's report on the financial condition of the church, presented by A. McKentte. was quite favorable considering the pressure of toe present economic depression Receipts for the year actually showed an increase over the previous year. From this report it is evident that with the continued co-operation of every church department and the loyal support of All members and adherents, the outlook for the future, as far as finance is concerned, will be very bright indeed. The various activities of this organisation resulted in a very handsome sum be- big given to the financial board of the church During the year tea regular meetings were held. Mrs. D. C. Stuart presided at every one, giving perfect attendance. Reports from the Women's Mls- jsionary Society were presented by Mrs. James Clark and Mrs. D. C. Stuart, and a report from the Mission Band was submitted by Miss Beulah McKinley. J. E. Thirty-two meetings had been held during the year with an average attendance of 1? girls. Miss Sdith Kerchi reported on the re cently organised Young People's' BtWe Class, which is held every Sunday morning under the direction of the minister. S. 1. Hunter submitted reports from the Young People's Society which holds meetings twice a month. These meetings are in turn: social, religious, edu cational and missionary Oreat in terest bad been taken In this so ciety by the young people and tt certainly had filled a long felt want. Very encouraging reports were submitted on behalf of the Men's Recreation Club by Jaa. Simpson and on behalf of the Wo men's Recreation Club by Mrs. R. Davie.
