For the first time, halibut is now available 6n.the Columbia River in sufficient quantity to permit of carload shipments being made from here. The charge arose out of an incident in the city police station Saturday night when Mrs. Marchelton is alleged to have visited the sta.-tlon brandishing a butcher knits and threatening to "carve up" the officer who had been responsible for haling her Into police court on a charge of failing to send her boy to school. On the charge of falling to send her boy to school, Mrs. Marchelton was remanded for eight days lit police court this morning. She is alleged to have failed to answer the summons on this charge prior to her appearance at the station Saturday night.
