emphasised

value
of

with

training
was
the
only
side

education

schools

boys
like
manual
training
work,
six
months
ago
they
discovered
that

manual
training
day
and
they
would
therefore
lose
that

The
biggest
trouble-makers
in
school
were
often
the
best
at
this
other
work
because
it
directed
their
natural
activities
in
a
manner
that
could
not
be
done
in
the
other
classes.

was
not
natural
for
any
boy
to
sit
at
a
desk
all
day.

had
found
that
boys
who
ranked
low
in
their
other
studies
