Barker provide for a hand. some residence of two. storeys with basement the cost of which will not be less than $8000. Richly Designed in exterior appearance the house will be rather different from the ordinary design. Doorways and balconies are to be enriched in substantial manner with heavy timber archways and mouldings. Both from back and front the house will look attractive, and the interior is to be specially so. From the main entrance opens a spacious reception hall with beams. Off this lead the entrances to dining room, living room, and den. Richly wainscotted, and with beam ceiling the dining-room isa handsome one. The fireplace in the den is designed of specially fired bricks of rich rough surface, and occupies a kindly corner po- sition. The living room is planned for comfort and inviting appear- ance. Convenient Kitchen A Dutch kitchen planned for the greatest possible convenience of the cook is a feature of the residence. Everything required in the kitchen will be within reach with the minimum of trouble. Panelled presses and cabinets are to line the walls, and coolness even when ,the stove is working its hardest is assured by the polished timbering and _ ceiling The Best Procurable. VUCKAVITCH IS NOT GUILTY Jury at Victoria Find Him Not Guilty of Charge of Shooting with Intent at the Kelly's Cut Incident, “Vuckavitch is pronounced not guilty by jury. Hope for more victories.” The above telegram received this morning from Mr. W. E. Williams of Williams & Manson, counsel for the defence of the strikers on trial at Victoria, was received this morning. Milan Vuck avitch, the man referred to, was charged with shooting with inteat to kill.
