Curtis, who have returned to Boston after five years of missionary work there. Mr. Curtis is principal of Mt. Sllinda Training School in Southern Rhodesia. The average Vaudau has plenty of wives, but he has to pay for them. He shells out anywhere from 15 to 30 for these females, and the richer a man is, the more wives he may have. Mrs. Pollard, a daughter of a Kltsum-kalum chief, who had often attended these festive seasons with her father, very kindly supplied the songs.
