About a month ago he wffered a stroke rem which he appeared to recover. Later, however, he was stricken again and had been a patient in the hospital for only a few days prior to the end. Born in Dorsetshire, Eng., the late Mr. Jeanes had been a resident of Canada for some years and came to this district from Edmonton. In addition to a widow, he Is survived by a daughter. Mrs. Ounnar Ciavring of this city. He was a member of the Moose Lodge under the aus- oices of which the funeral will be held with Haynor Bros, in charge of trrangements.
