A Canoe Trip Around Cape Horn Halibut Fishing on Pacific -To Cease on October 26 With Closing Down of Area No. 3 Halibut fishing on the Pacific Coast for the 1933 season will come to a close on October 26 at midnight as a result of an order by the International Fisheries Commission, notice of which was received in Prince Rupert today, closing fishing in Area No. 3 on that date. By that time, it is expected that the quota limit for the season set for that area will have been reached. On August 25,. fishing was stopped in the closer ' Area No. 2, owing to the quota for the year having been reached. Since that time, the larger vessels of the Pacific Coast fleet have been operating in Area No. 3.
