Star.
Canon
Shatford
bases
his
article
on
five
points.
No
Catholic
universal

creed
has
given
a
place
to
the
dayma,
of
everlasting
punishment.

ecumenical
(world-wide)
coun
cils
of
the
church
never
promulgated
a
dogma
on
the
subject
of
hell.
The
fathers
of
the
church
were
certainly
never
unanimous
In
their
support
of
the
dogma
of
everlasting
damnation.
The
revisors
of
the
New
Testament
in
1880
removed
the
words
"Hell."
"Everlasting,"
and
"damnation"
from
the
scriptures.
Lastly,
the
Church
of
England
has
no
official
doctrine
of
everlasting
punishment.
