He haled a government boat which-was hovarteg around Jap Point to ghre him a tow Into town which it readily did. While towing the government cratt stopped for a few minutes to make readjustments and the Wave fining rapidly. Immediately sank. Herman who was aboard grabbed a buoy and managed to keep himself afloat until the other boat turned around to pick htm up. The Wave sank in about 40 fathoms of water so it will be a total loss.
