J. Alder are now being distributed among passengers leaving Vancouver on northern tourist boats, it was reported at a dinner meeting of the Junior Section of the Prince Rupert Chamber of Commerce -at the Knox Hotel late last week by R. L. McLennan, chairman of the tourist attraction committee. Signs are being put up at the steamship wharves directing tourists to places of Interest hereabouts and existing signs of this description arc being reconditioned. The meeting heard a report from President S. J. Jabour on a recent conference in Vancouver with presidents of southern Junior Cham bers of Commerce. The possibility of the formation of an Association of Junior Chambers of Commerce was discussed at this conference. A proposed province-wide tourist attraction campaign also came In for discussion. Arrangements were made for a meeting with R. Carter Ouest of Vancouver, district inspector of civil , aviation, who will be here this I month, to discuss the possibility of ; registering Prince Rupert as an air port. A resolution was passed offering co-operation of the Junior Chamber to the Fair Board -in any activity that might be attempted In the way of staging a fair after the fishing season. Two persons disembarked from the vessel at this port while three boarded her here for Vancouver. Having on board Misses Margaret and Edith Kergln, Dr. Fred Kergln of Toronto and Clarence Thomron of San Francisco, the power yacht Full Moon left Saturday evening for a week-end cruise In Warke Canal waters. Dr. Fred Kergln had returned to the city earlier in tho evening from Premier where he had spent the week visiting with his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. W. S. Kergln. With a good sized list of passengers on board, Union steamer Ca-tala, Capt. A. E. Dickson, arrived in port at 8:30 last evening from the south and sailed a couple of hours later for Anyox, Stewart and other northern points whence she will return here tomorrow afternoon southbound.
