During the winter the Canadian , Legion won the first half of the City Cribbage League and the Le gion Billiard team won' the second, half of the billiard tournament. I But the Legion's interest in foot-; ball is of particular note. The Le gion runs a football team. Last year ihe team won all four trophies.1 There are two other football teams in the City Football Association. The president of the Merchants Football team is J. Preece, who is also president of the Canadian Le gion, while the president of the foot scores to win. The Canadian Legion is a strong supporter of clean healthy sport. Congratulations and long life!
