Box 575 Phone 18 I WHIFFLETS From the Waterfront The Alaskan motorship freighter Zappra, having been towed Into Butcdnle last week with engine trouble while hound from Seattle .to Alaska with a cargo of 300 tons of freight, expects to resume her Interrupted voyage from Butcdale tomorrow. At the end of the week a part of the Zapora's engine was sent in for casting repairs at the local dry dock. The work having ben done and the part returned, word brought here last night from Bute dale was that the Zapora was al most ready to proceed again. There! Is a possibility she may call In here on the way to Ketchikan. On a regularly scheduled voyage to Alaska, C. P. R, steamer Princess Nowh, Capt W. Q. Palmer, arrived in pmrt at 10 o'clock yesterday morning from Vancouver and sailed at, II am. for Skagway and other northern points whence she is scheduled to call here next Thursday afternoon southbound. The vessel had nineteen passengers on board, four disembarking here while five went north aboard her from this port. Union steamer Catala, Capt. A. E.
