B. Rochester. The donor spoke of the pleasure it afforded him to be with the boys and to present the shield how In Us thirteenth year. Stan Veitch acknowledged receipt on behalf of the High School team. City Commissioner W. J. Alder presented the medals, complimenting the boys on the fine spirit displayed in the various games. Bert Morgan, president of the Football Association, congratulated the boys on their record and emphasized the value of a healthful sporting spirit in the community. Jack Frew told of the valuable games learned, the spirit of obeying rules, of playing for the team, not any selfish objective. J. S. Wilson, who presided, expressed the regret of S. D. Macdonald, George W. Johnstone and Jack Campbell, all old supporters of the Junior Association, at their Inability to be present. He spoke of the debt the Junior footballers owed to the Parent-Teachers' Association, the Trades and Labor Council, the Dominion Day Celebration committee as a result of whose support It was possible to present the winners with the very artistic medals. Mr. Wilson also thanked the members of the executive whose support made the association so successful. Bertie O'Neill moved a vote of thanks to the parents who had made the banquet possible and to all who had helped. Russell Cam eron seconded the resolution and It passed unanimously. Vote of thanks to the referees, Jimmy Carroll, W. Barton and the teachers were also enthusiastically endorsed. Those receiving medals were D. McMeekln, Stan Veltch, Stewart McGreish, T. Orimble, B. The game was vigorous and exciting throughout. It first looked as though Vlereck was leading his crew to an easy walk-away. The Scouts", however, turned on the heat and at half-time they were only two points behind. The second half was a repetition of the first and at full time the score stood 28-all.
