J. Alder of the Flower Show and Carnival Week proceedings. In de claring the event open. Mr. Alder congratulated the Fair Board as well as exhibitors on the excellence of the flower display. He trusted that the entertainment of Carnival Week would prove enjoyable noi only to local people but to the many visitors from outside polrte who were here for the occasion. F. E.
