Many Pretty Girls Here Struck Fancv of Terrace Visitor To City During Recent Carnival TERRACE, Sept. 6: Practically all those who visited Prince Rupert for the week of carnival have now returned. They are unanimous in reporting a perfect week both of varied amusements and of fine weather. One old timer who had not visited the city for some years said what he noticed had changed the most was the motor cars. On the occasion of his last visit there were still a few horses and the cars and taxis at the time were somewhat shabby. Now he says you see such shiny, swift-moving, expensive looking cars. There are more nice looking women now than formerly. The last time he went, he says, he only saw four pretty girls and they were all Terrace girls who were working in Rupert. This time he seemed to see many charmers. He was especially rapturous concerning the slim and lovely creature, decked out in an attractive uniform, who brought him coffee and pie which he says is his staple diet when he goes to town.
