There were at present 8,000 members in the province but there should be at least 50,-0C0. The association was responsible for the tolls being lifted on provincial bridges and it was hoped that soon all ferry charges would be eliminated. The new fill at Kwinitsa shortly to be commenced, was the result of representations made toy the Pr'nce Rupert branch. There was tc be a conference in Vancouver on August 21 and 22 and it was hoped to have a g6od delegation sent down from the three branches in the north Prince Rupertt, Terrace and Prince George. Mr. Kraupner spok at some length on the brief presented to the Public Works Department recently on various needs around Prince Rupert and the highway as fat as Kwinitsa. More signs were needed at the danger spots, especially at the dangerous curve outside one of the tunnels. Even drivers who were familiar with the road were nervous at thli particular spot. The meeting discussed other matters, and election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: Past President, W. F. J. Osborne. President, C. J. Norrlngton. Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. W.
