REPORT Tbe.report of the annual meeting of the Royal Bank of Canada, published Saturday in this paper, was interesting, not only as showing the soundness of the bank, the im proved condition of the country and hopeful outlook but also by intimating that the countries of the world are tired of excessive economic nationalism. This, naturally, includes Canada which has shut off much of its world trade by means of excessively high tariff walls. In this stand Morris W. Wilson, president and managing director of the bank, is in line with Sir John Aird, president of the Cana dian bank 01 Commerce, who recently asked for a general reduction of tariffs throughout the world.
