Just when the final completion and the opening will take place has not been decided upon. The church replaces one that has been the centre of all missions since the, Inception of the work of the Methodist Church here. Progress on the building is being watched with a' great deal of sympathetic interest from many sources. Friends even as far east as Now Brunswick are making inquiries as arc many in the south who have had early connection with the old Grace Church. The building, when completed, will be altered somewhat from the original plan but is being built to look after the growing work of the church. C. Stuart presiding. Following the business meeting and musical program, Dr. W. T. Kergin gave an account of some of his experience and observations arising out of a holiday spent In Honolulu. The physical features of the island, the city of Honolulu and its beaches, the characteristics and .customs of the native Inhabitants were very interestingly described. The marine life and the major In dustries of the islands were por trayed in such a vivid manner as to make the address not only most entertaining, but also very instructive.
