Moxlcy was a very pleasant and successful affair. The rooms were' very pretty, being suitably decorated for the occasion with flags and flowers. Little Miss Arleen Fitzgerald attended the door, the guests- being received by Mrs. Moxlcy and Mrs. O. C. Stuart, president of the so ciety. The tea room was in charge of Mrs. B. R. Rkje and Mrs. J. M. Walker, servfteurs being Mrs. J. Bremncr, assisted by the Misses P. Pinley. V. Johnson and B. Berner. Mrs. D. C. McRae and Mrs. Samuel Massey poured. Mrs. W. L. Edward Mabbs, arrived in port at 11:45 this morning from Vancouver, Powell River and Ocean Falls and will sail at 4 o'clock this afternoon for Anyox and Stewart whence she will return here tomorrow evening southbound. Capt. Nell McLean, who arrived in port today from Vancouver via the Queen Charlotte Islands in command of the steamer Prince John, transfers here to the steamer Prince Rupert which will be his ship for the summer, Capt. Dan McKlnnon, who has been chief of fleer, taking over command of the Prince John. Capt. Edward Mabbs, who has been skipper of the Prince Rupert for the past week, will go over to the steamer Prince George, which Is completing annual over haul at the local dry dock pre paratory to being recommlssloned for service next month with Capt, Mabbs In command.
