Effort to be Made to Impress Government With Seriousness of Situation by Workers Who Are Unable To Find Employment OTTAWA, June 24: Dissatisfied with the reception they were given by Premier Bennett the relief camp delegation from Regina and other unemployed delegations predict that from twenty to thirty thousand men will march on the capital for the purpose of trying to impress the government with the seriousness of the situation. The Regina strikers will not disband or return to relief camps but it is expected here that they will continue their trek. Connelly is the head, are at present giving employ ment to about seventy-five men, providing a tidy summer payroll for this particular district The sawmill started operations this year on May 15 and Mr. Connelly xpects to continue sawing until ,. Shipments are being made steadily to the prairie market at the rat of about one car (25.000 to 30.000 feet) dally. The mill at Frater Lake, like other Interior lumber plants, has also been turning out switch ties (of fir hero for the Canadian Na tional Railways. Aspen Loss to China Mr. Connelly now has fifty car loads of aspen logs ready to ship through Prince Rupert to Uie Orient.- He is only awaiting orders .now to send this timber. Already he has shipped seventy-five car -loads during the past year or so land he expects the market to ex pand. The demand now is for a tUghUy better grade for which a somewhat higher price Is paid.
