The social was held for the purpose of helping to raise funds for the purchase of additional new Instruments -for the band. Mathew Wesley, president of the Band Association, welcomed the guests and expressed his thank. for the support given the band during the past year, especially to the Ladles' Auxiliary for their loyal support and financial helo. Durinff the first part of the evening the children were entertained with games, favors and, ' singing and selections by the band. Special numbers by the band were- dedicated to Miss Ruth Akagawai R.
