PETER'S East End Anglican Chnrch Had Good Year In All Departments Finances Satisfactory The annual vestry meeting of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, was held last evening with Rev. Canon W. F. Rushbrook in tlic chair and W. O." Vigar acting as secretary. The chairman's address revealed a year of general prosperity but regret was voiced that there had been a slight falling-off in the evening congregations. It was felt traffic. The secretary-treasurer's report showed a healthy state of affairs with all obligations fully met while the restoration fund had exceeded its apportionment of $150 by $19. An anonymous gift of $300 had made possible the carrying out of much necessary work on church property uch as painting. The property was now in an excellent state of repair. A new furnace had been installed in the church hall. The report of the Women's Auxiliary was most satisfactory. Much of the success of the church had been due to the spiritual and financial efforts of the women. The report of the secretary of the Sunday School was received with much enthusiasm. A total attendance of 209 last Sunday marked a climax in that department. The election of officers for the year resulted as follows: Lay Representative, C. J. Nor- rlngton. Wardens W. O. Vigar (people's), J. E. Boddie (rector's) Secretaryitreasurer, W. O. Vigar. Sidesmen George Kelsey, W. B. Sklnenr, J. H. McLeod, Robert Bod die and Robert Kelsey.
