Pallant of Skidegate, who has been employed at the Morgan logging camp at Sedgewlck Bay was brought to the Queen Charlotte city Hospital on the trip of the steamer Prince John this week for treatment. Thomas A. Kclley, well known Queen Charlotte Island logging operator, arrived at Ills camp at Atll Inlet on this week's trip of the Prince John from Vancouver. The camp is now running In full swing. S. J. Darcus of Penticton, who was on the Islands two or three years ago studying natural history, is back again, having arrived at Massett from Vancouver on the Prince John this week. He intends to proceed to Naden Harbor and Langara Island. R. T. Ward of Port Clements, Government Telegraphs lineman for the Queen Charlotte Islands and well "known" pioneer of the Islands, whose health has not been good of late, has left for Vancouver and other southern points on a two months' visit. Mr. Ward was one of the pioneers who took up land at Lawn Hill in the early days but, when the Great War broke out, he abandoned the ranch and went to England where he enlisted in the Imperial forces. After the war he returned to the Islands and has been here since. His many friends will wish him a speedy re- cove ry and that he will be soon able to return to the Islands. J.
